Most people know what Whole Foods is. Whole Foods is a grocery store on steroids that has stores all across the country and even in Europe. “At Whole Foods Market®, "healthy" means a whole lot more. It goes beyond good for you, to also encompass the greater good. Whether you're hungry for better, or simply food-curious, we offer a place for you to shop where value is inseparable from values” (http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/mission-values). There are two whole foods in my area, one in Memphis and a new one in Germantown. When you step into Whole Foods you feel comfortable and you get hugged by quality right away. Everything looks fresh, it is clean, and everyone is friendly. Their product is definitely something that stands out and is different. Even as a college student that doesn’t have a lot of money, I decide to go there for certain things due to the quality of food and I just like going there. I would compare Whole Foods to the Apple iPhone of the grocery store industry. Whole Foods is the definition of product differentiation in the grocery store industry.
